Hi everyone and welcome to my blog!
i have been on the net since 1992, i have been a member of many forums of all types,
i have designed a few websites for myself and others and i hate to admit it that this is
my first blog. i just don’t know that much about them but from what i can tell its just an
electronic diary of sorts?
anyway, i’m 43 and retired on disability as a machinist. i used to be into golfing and also
competitive archery (SD indoor champ BHFS) but now i’m just a woodcrafting newbie!
i have slowly been gathering machines and tools since this spring and my shop is a work
in progress, lots of stuff to get done before winter arrives. please check out my workshop
page to see a few pics and a list of my gear.
i really look forward to learning a lot here and getting to know and hopefully making friends
with a lot of you! so please stop and say a quick hello and mention where your from.

are you a member of the siouxland woodworkers club? i joined up a month ago and met some great people but not being in sioux city its hard to hook up with anyone or have them over to hang out.
i will have to check your album to see if you have any pics of your shop. hope to chat sometime.

Greetings from Wisconsin, I’m relatively new to LJ’s, seems like a great site.

Glad to have you in the shop. Good luck in getting all of the new skills honed along with some chisles and planes.
