Router Templates

Blog entry by NormiteLou posted 863 days ago 1481 reads 0 times favorited 9 comments Add to Favorites Watch

Hi All, Template Master is a new product I have developed for making Ultra Precision Tiles called Tessellations.
Using the Template Master system, Tessellated Tiles and Borders can be cut in just a few minutes each.
A typical 25” diameter 3/4” thick Floor Medallion (as shown in the introduction video) can be cut out, Routered using Template Master , assembled and glued up in less than 3 1/2 hours.
Disclaimer: Of course, Please allow 24 hours for glue to dry before final finish!!

This is Excellent for a quick weekend project! You can build, one two or three a day easy!
Make them for yourself, give them as gifts, sell them (but please do not set up a factory)!

The Tiles or Tessellations can be incorporated into about any surface you can imagine ex.: Table Top, Inlay Medallion, Lazy Suzanne, Flooring, Wainscot…... Your imagination is the limit!

Please keep checking in on my Blog updates, as I will post mini videos on different projects that can be built with each Template Master pattern. Also, I will be introducing new Template Master patterns.
I am not mass producing Template Master at this time. But if you have a pattern you would like made, give me a holler!

Thanks for watching!
Lets make some saw dust!

Well, you’ve got my interest – but the video does not play. Please repost something that we can view. Went to your website and that doesn’t appear to be working either.

that sure would make “accuracy” an easy thing to achieve!

Interesting. I make templates from MDF and stick them down withdbl. sided tape. It would be great to have the aluminum templates if there was enough need for them. Really neat idea.

Nice idea. The video shows way too much routing, one example of attaching should be enough. Sound quits at 6:50.

Hi Data Doc, Thanks for the data input. I am currently cutting the video up into smaller chunks!

Normite Lou you concept is interesting, I think, but you sound quits half way through – didn’t miss the music really, I would have liked to have seen less routing time and more assembly time. I would be helpful if you would have included some audio to explain the process and what the components were, as well as the prices of each piece – are there other patterns available, or are the two shapes shown the only two you need?

I think you have an interesting product, I just need a little better explanation of the process and cost – unless I missed something.
