I’m a firm believer that tool ratings should come with caveats and comparison. I have been using the (new-ish) Irwin Marples 40T general purpose blade in my Dewalt DWE7491 table saw for a few months now and can confidently say that it is an incredible value (dollar to performance ratio). It won’t go outshining premium blades, and my only premium blade comparison is a full kerf Freud Premier Fusion, which performed better (rips faster, and easier to get clean crosscuts). Key hig...

Got this handy little gizmo in the mail the other day and used it right off on my DeWalt 12 1/2” planer blades. I would wait until all six edges need sharpening before sharpening the blades. It’s easier to sharpen 6 edges and keep it even for all the edges. I sharpen 2 edges, remove one blade and flip the other blade and put in the 3rd blade and sharpen as before. Then remove the blade that was flipped and install the first removed blade with one edge needing sharpening still. And...

Greetings from West Virginia. I’m new here but I have been dying to tell someone about my new toy. I just got the Osborne EB3 Miter Gauge for Christmas and its great! I have a Grizzly G0576 left tilt table saw and the stock miter gauge was ok for rough cuts but it just was not accurate enough in my judgement. Even though I adjusted the guide bar, it still would move slightly in the slot. The angles were difficult to set and I had to look for my protractor to double and triple check...
