Location: Eugene, Oregon USA

I just graduated from the University of Oregon where I majored in History and worked in the Craft Center at the EMU as a woodshop tech. I've been woodworking since I was 12. I was required at North Bend Junior High to take at least one term of wood shop. I took 5 or 6. I've made jewelry boxes, shaker tables, picture frames, small cabinets, bookshelves, and chessboards. I would like to learn more about lathes and turning bowls. I earned woodcarving merit badge and love to whittle spoons and ladles. I use mostly hand tools at home because I don't have the space or money for big power tools and they are generally safer too. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Catch you on down the trail.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself almost a year ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…
