The first pic is a downdraft/torsion table. With my limited space it only made sense to combine the qualities of both. It may not be dead flat according to a micrometer, but none of my chairs or tables have displayed a wobble…. so far.

Sometimes it’d be nice to get a vehicle into the garage, but it only takes about 10-15min of rearranging to accomplish that. Of course then there’s no room to do anything but simple stuff at the workbench.

This is certainly a nice shop that you have. The downdraft table is a welcome addition to your shop I am sure. I have been meaning to add one of these to mine as well and I like the idea of combining both functions in one table. The lathe looks like it gets plenty of use too. This is one tool that I do not have in my shop but it is high on my wish list. I have seen the fun I am missing out on whenever a turning project is posted.

Thanks for the pictures. I enjoyed visiting your shop.
