Relatively new woodworker. Just picked up some entry level tools and stuffed them in the already in need to cleaning garage and will hopefully be able to actually produce something other than sawdust! Actually I have already built a pretty decent potting bench from a free online plan (though I had to work through some pretty messed up dimensions) and have yet to finish the 3 drawers on it, but have already put it to use. Definitely looking forward to reading about some good tips for the newbie and such.
Also should mention that I am also interested both in scroll saw crafts and would like to get into intarsia in the future (depending on when I can invest in a more professional scroll saw) as well as miniature crafts - more specifically building historical tall ships and such. Haven't found too much information on that yet, but if any of you have heard or seen of a good site or two to check out I would be much obliged!
