Have not had any experience with the Metabo bandsaw, but all of their other tools I have seen have been
top quality and very sturdy, of course you pay for that, but it is worth it in the long run. Hope you enjoy
many years of fun with your new bandsaw. Please share the projects with us if you have time.

congrat´s with the saw Thomas
but it seems to me that I have to take away a little of the capasity of the saw for you
165mm isn´t 12½ inch
12 inch is a foot and a foot is 305 mm …............sorry
I had to use my hacksaw and shorten the Bandsaw …. behind your back Thomas
if you wonder about how fast you have grown over night …............ lol

good luck with the saw :-)

and take care….....don´t loose digits on it
Dennis

Great looking saw! The few Metabo tools I’ve used have always been excellent quality.
