To my fellow Lumberjocks: Just thought I’d share an item.
I just got my Wecheer reciprocating handpiece for use with my 30 year old Dremel variable speed mototool. At first glance, I wondered if it was too big for the Dremel but it attached perfectly in seconds. I turned it on gingerly to a low speed and touched the gouge I had selected to a piece of scrap pine. As indicated on the package, the gouge blade did nothing until I touched it to the wood then a miracle happened! It started cutting out a perfect shaving even without honing the gouge! I did four cuts and felt inwardly transfigured with a quiet sense of illuminated fullness that bordered on happiness for a minute! (Yeah, I know I’m getting old and crotchety… but I still got my teeth!)
Joking aside, this thing is going to completely transform my carving. I love it! And it was only $50 bucks!
Anyone else used this tool?

Sure, Dandog. Good to hear from you.
I’ll see what I can do about some photos or
a video clip if I can figure all that stuff out.
This attachment is also quiet. Very neat
thing. I recommend it highly. Seems pretty
safe to me so far!

No, no problem, Dandog! Thanks for the tip on using the IMG tab. I’ll get back to you when I do it.
I just did some more carving using the attachment. Then I stropped and polished the gouge bit and
it did even better! So hang in there, bro’, and I’ll see what I can do this weekend.

Hi Wheels,
I bought the WECheer reciprocationg handpiece for Dremel from TreelineUSA.com.
It was $50 plus shipping. A good buy to my mind. Gives new life to the old Dremel.
Cheers
