Wife's Anniversary & Mother's Day Present (Post #1)

My wife wanted to get her garden tilled and planted. It was during the time I was laid up after my foot surgery. I have a good friend who is a woodworker but had not made any cabinets. So we decided to barter and help each other. He tilled the garden, put in 16 posts and ran rabbit wire so the wife could start planting her garden. In exchange, I designed his kitchen, gave him drawings, cutting lists and a BOM for the kitchen he wanted to build. The first picture is the work my friend did for me:

These are the sketches I did for the arbors and picket fence sections:

Here are pictures of the first arbor and me making fence sections:

Here we are starting to install the first arbor and fence sections.

Once it’s all put together, I’ll post pictures of the finished fence. This is the “first” project coming out of my new shop and the wife is very happy that she got the first finished project!!

Rj – Foot is much better. Started working some in the shop everyday and back to Lowe’s 4 hour days, 4 days a week. I got the Powermatic sign when I bought the saw. Thanks for asking.

God Bless
