14/09/2012 :
In August 2011 I started my own small business and sell my manufactured items on craft markets : games, puzzles, trays, boxes, mirrors, magnets, etc whether scrollsawed or decorated with a marketry.

OLD :
My hobby since 3 years is doing marquetry to decorate boxes, trays, mirrors, magnets or simply put them in a frame to hang on the wall.
I learn by myself, visiting lots of internet maquetarian sites and taking a 30 hours workshop with Jean-Luc Hoogstein a Belgian cabinetmaker (thank you Jean-Luc !) last year.

Now I would like to learn making the box, trays, other supports by myself ... and I found lumberjoks ... next step : practicing !

I also use my scrollsaw to make puzzles, decorations, etc

Living in the country in Belgium I enjoy gardening with my partner and my son.

Welcome to Lumber Jocks! I hope you enjoy your membership as much as I do. This is a great place to get, or give, advice and the projects are truly inspirational.

Take care.

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a little over a year ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…

Wisty
