The wood for these is Grey Elm. It is a BEAUTIFUL wood. I love it! Rick says that it turns nicely as well.

oh now that I look again-he stained the bottom of the one lightly with the red stain and left the top natural, so it looks like a red lamp with a glass lamp shade.
