« Part 3: Step 3 - the joining wall Part 4 of Storage Shed series Part 5: The Roof »

This afternoon, we put up two more walls and hopefully tomorrow morning will complete the last wall which will be the double-doors.

We have already decided where the lathe, table saw, and mitre saw will go once the kids move out and don’t need the storage space any longer. I suggested that we get another set of tools—one for the basement in the winter and one for the shed in the summer. That way we never have to move anything! :)

I think as far as shops go, you might want to make 4 of those sheds and join them together. LOL. I’m a big fan of excess and having a set of tools for winter and summer is a GREAT idea…quite worthy of League of Potato Heros.

Lookin’ good Debbie. Looks like you’ll be having room over head for excess lumber storage in this shed.

heheh yes, you guys are a bad influence.. I mean GOOD influence :D

There is going to be a LOT of room for wood storage because we have yet to put a roof on – and there is the mini shed on the right hand side which is lower and also will have the roof covering it. We are pretty excited about the future of this little shed.

re: Size, Tom, since this is just our “summer” workshop, we can bring the tools outside. And if it rains, well, just back down to the “winter” shop :D
lol oh yah…..... SWEET

4th wall… up and ready for the door.

and roof. We have decided to just do 1/2 of the roof now so the storage area will be ready and then we can add the other half later.

We will also add a window to the back of this, once the kids buy a house, move their stuff out, and leave us with our summer workshop :)
