I couldn’t find the discussion about Canadian Lumberjocks so I just decided to post a blog response.
How can you tell a Canuck lumberjock from others around the world?

Well, they don’t need power tools—they just go out into the woods (or backyard) in their red flannel jacket and beaver hat, carrying their axe and just cut what they need to get the job done!

Yup.. then we ride the log down the river and finish the job.

Oh.. and when you meet one… you’ll know (click on photo for larger image).
(A Real Live Canadian LumberJock)

I want to thank my daughter for taking the photo.

Hmmmm. I thought all Canadian Lumberjocks had buck teeth and flat tails…..

Except for those that moved to Australia.

Lol.

I saw this add while I was at a NHL playoff game in Edmonton. It was played on the scoreboard jumbotron and made the stadium go NUCKIN FUTZ!!

Debbie: Where did you get the Plaid coat. I’d like one like that.

When you put all of those weird “U’s” in colour and other misc words.

But you need to say this.

“There’s a mouse in the house with a louse on its snout out south.”

:) They used to play the little vignette a lot on TV. I would have to stop whatever I was doing to dance along. It still brings a smile to my face.

I love my hat too and yes it is a beaver hat.
