I've been working with wood since I took high school shop classes starting in 1973. I spent much of my summers and after school hours in my Grandfather's workshop while apprenticing a Master Cabinet Maker. A lot of my skills were acquired through trial and error over years of mistakes and successes. My portfolio ranges from complete kitchens, to garden caddy’s, children's toys and puzzles, to mature tea tables and chests. I've mastered Hutch Tables, Bucket Benches, Wall mirrors, Writing Desks and most recently, the Windsor Chair through the Windsor Institute in New Hampshire with Mike Dunbar. I prefer the early American Style of woodworking and continually look for unique everyday wooden items from the past to reproduce for 21st century use. Most items are built with a combination of power and hand tools. I’ve recently taken a renewed interest in working with hand tools and really enjoy the quietness and large curls of wood shavings on the shop floor.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.
God Bless
