Part 1: The Beginnings

This is going to be a Mini ITX HTPC for my girlfriend. Primary use will be streaming netflix. I’ll be using plywood for the main structure and then trying my hand at veneer. The front will be solid curly maple. Cutting the first piece. All the rest of the plywood pieces are done the same way, so I haven’t included them here. Part 2: Vent Frames and Top Glued

Not a whole lot of progress after moving, and working on other projects, but I brought some stuff back to my apartment, and this was one of them… I’ve managed to finish cutting the pieces for the top vent frames, got the top cross braces glued in place, and am gluing the top to the rest of it: Here’s a picture of the vent frames done, and in place (not glued in yet) Top clamped in place, while gluing: I had made a little bracket to hold the fan on it, mount...

Part 3: Veneer, Glued in Vent Frames, Stained, and Grain Popped

This past weekend I got the veneer applied and stained, and glued in the top vent frame pieces. I also popped the grain on the curly maple front. Next stop will be the final pictures in the Project posting.
