Married 29 years, 3 boys (18-25) and new to wood turning (20 mos.). Was rock sculpting for previous 3 years, but like the feel, look and smell of wood.
Joined the El Camino Woodworking Guild in SoCal and have completed 45 pieces and have rough turned a dozen green bowls, vases, etc waiting for them to dry. Bought a 18/47 Laguna lathe, new table saw, miter saw, bench grinder, planer, up to 20+ gouges. Love the art form and doing my part to $timulate the economy. Spending lots of money getting started. Glad to be a part of the group.

Welcome to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get – or give – advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I love this site, I hope you will enjoy it too.
Look forward to seeing your projects and posts.

LJ has a very extensive review section. Click on the review tab at the top of the page and do a search. If there hasn’t been a review, post your request on the Forums for maximum exposure and advice.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
