I love making something old something new again- new to me, and the character some older pieces have or possibilities recycling one thing into another, I have the will show me the way! I'm def learning new things but I'm short on a formal woodworking edu so I've finished sanding three diff pieces of furniture and searching the web so I don't ruin all my hard work by staining some terrible color- however I like color- I like individualism, I joined to see if I could decipher the line between silly childish colored wood and true artistic design, unique- hoping one day when my confidence arrives in craftsmanship I might be able to make some extra money sharing my take on art. I think I've got a lot of the basics but figure it's probably like any education - all your really doing is finding how much you don't know :) hope to get some help from some of you maybe one day able to return the favor!

I have been here almost a year. The one thing I have learned is how little I knew when I came. We never quit learning and always willing to answer questions.

Molly, I have found that in life one of the most important things you do is to be persistent in whatever you want to accomplish and stick to it. Stay with it and you will eventually succeed. Best wishes and God bless.
