I have been lucky enough to be born into a woodworking family. I am a doctor by profession, but love woodworking as my passion and hobby. My workshop is my place to be. Most of my projects are furniture and cabinetry. I built all the cabinets for my kitchen last year and it was so worth it. I use each project as an opportunity to advance my skills and acquire more tools. I love every aspect of woodworking except sanding. My festool sanders can't even seem to shake my distain for sanding.

-- Every project is an opportunity to acquire new tools and any solution that requires buying a new tool is the correct one.

Welcome to LJs. You’ll probably find this to be the best place on the world wide web.
Thanks for your feedback. BTW, are you going to post your kitchen? ;-)
I totally share your dislike for sanding… Ever tried scrapers?
