I am a stick dresser and have been making Shepherd's Crooks, Market Sticks and Walking Sticks since 1986. I make my sticks of wood, no horn or bone. I have sold one or more various sticks into 30 of the contiguous 48 states and three foreign countries, Britain, Holland and Norway. I am 86 and 2/3 years old and the older brother of LakelandDave. He told me of this site. Of course I have also made benches, footstools, coat racks, my bedroom suit and many other things. My shop is a converted one car garage and the central tool is a 1956 Shopsmith with various attachable tools and a 13.5" DeWalt planer.
