I'm an 23 year Air Force flyer who was introduced to woodworking by a very talented friend I was stationed with in Fort Walton Beach, Florida (WMD2006). I am now retired and working at Nellis AFB doing what I used to do at Osan Air Base, Korea.
My goal over the next few years is to develop my joinery skills as well as my finishing skills. So much to work on and I finally have a garage to be able to do so!

I will say, I'm not of the caliber of the folks that I've seen and admired on this site, but I certainly aim to be as good one day!

Nice to meet'ya!
Richard

Wow, I was also disappointed to find out that the wood shop had closed here at Osan AB. I live off base by the Morrin gate (Palace 2 buiding C) and have probably passed by Gaya a few times on my bicycle looking for hardware/lumber yards! Can you let me know the next time you are going, would like to tag along if you don’t mind. Not having a car is a downer as well! I work at the 51 Comm Sq. Voice shop
