Im Mike & I like working on projects. I Like woodworking enough to make a living from it. Also totally enjoy random projects of all sorts. I have done a little of this & a bit of that. I enjoy restoring classic fiberglass boats, building up my garage work shop, fixing up my property & did I mention I raise Parrots, I have a flock of macaws, he he,so they keep me busy. I also have a small youtube channel I enjoy sharing some of the progress I have made from a few of my projects. I only started making videos after I realized how much good info I get from youtube so by making my own videos it's my way of giving back to the community. I like to help others & share my ideas. My video producing, editing skills are evolving. Hope to have better content as time goes by.
I am a finish carpenter (15 years now) My desire for woodworking began in my fathers shop as a 10 year old boy. I moved out when I was young , well low & behold found myself buying power tools. Worked on projects in a small environment until we got our first & last house in 2000. Its nothing fancy, mid sized but gets the job done. Came with a unfinished detached back house/garage/workshop. It took years to enclose the garage but I finished in 2006. Been working on the interior since 2007. before that I used the garage up front. That's enough about me.
I have come across this web site from over the years, finally saved it in my favorites & decided to join. It seems like a nice place, good people to share a common interest. Looking forward to this -Mike
Ha ha, my life motto.....DIY to the fullest, use reclaimed-recycled materials, save money where possible (bank it) & simply enjoy the experience =)
