So I’ve discovered that my original garage woodshop was not very functional for me. With only about half of a two car garage to use for space, I was lacking an outfeed table and assembly table, and only had a workbench that was attached to the wall. I was also in serious need of storage space. So off to the computer I went. Lucky for me I had a copy of Microsoft Visio on my work laptop computer. Well after several trips back and forth and a lot of measuring I came up with a plan… well I’ve done a little more than that. I’ve start putting things in motion. I built the assembly table from the Wood Whisperer Website with a few changes. It will work as my assembly table/workbench/outfeed table. On the one wall I am putting up a french cleat system for storage. Below is my floorplan layout. I will post pictures as I near completion.

Thanks AJ. I wish I had taken the time to draw it out before. This really helped me visualize how everything would work together.

Well the plan has moved from just being on paper to a reality in my garage. Check out my workshop to see the photos.
