I use a lot of wipe on poly to finish my projects
I like making my own, mixing Mineral Spirits and poly
Sometimes I mix it 50/50 and sometimes I mix it 30/70
Has anyone made their own “Water Based” poly.

JUC, he is thinning it out to make it easier to apply. Mineral spirits/Garson is the solvent for varnish and poly.

Thanks!! I know what poly is but what is varnish? What is the difference between the two? I use min-wax rub on poly om my boxes.
