Howdy folks!
First off – thanks for having a look at my humble and developing shop – I moved into my first house late last year and have been trying to build an area in the basement to turn into a workshop. It’s finally starting to take shape.
The gentleman who used to own the house left two older workbenches in the furnace room. I’ve tried to reuse as much of the lumber from those benches as possible. My main bench still isn’t quite finished – but other projects keep popping up.
I’m pretty happy about the band saw, I just recently picked it up (second or third hand) and am removing the rust from the table with some advice from the forums here. Now all I have to do is order blades and I’ll be in business.
My tool collection is pretty limited right now – mitre saw, circular saw, router and table, band saw and some other “starter” tools. I’m hoping to add a nice table saw very soon and then start to build some projects other than shop furniture.
Thanks for looking!

Mike, it looks like you have a nice start on your shop. You have a put together a pretty respectable collection of tools and you appear to have plenty of room to maneuver around in there.
Thanks for the pictures. Keep us posted as you upgrade your shop.

That’s a real nice shop, Mike. I wouldn’t mind playing around in there myself.
