After closing my shop (525 Sq. Ft) across from the Las Vegas Orleans Hotel/Casino I moved the shop into my garage (544 Sq Ft) and saved myself a bunch of rent money and driving time.
I’m still in the process of completing the shop, I guess that’s an ongoing project for most woodworkers. I moved all the storage normally found in a garage up to the ceiling using overhead storage racks.
My biggest problem seems to be dust collection, except in the summer when I can open the outside door.
The shop stays fairly consistent in humidity so I have not had much of a problem with wood moisture.
Since the shop is dedicated to woodworking, meaning no cars allowed, I don’t need to have my table saw on a movable base. All of my other tools on on dual locking casters.

Micheil, you certainly have put together a pretty nice looking shop. It is clean, well organized and you have done well with the space that you have. You also have some nice tools to play with as well.

Thanks for the pictures. I enjoyed taking a tour of your shop.

Micheil, you have a very nice clean looking shop with plenty of organization and some nice equipment. Congratulations and welcome to Lumberjocks.

That’s pretty serious Micheil.
Keep going at it. I like.

Nice shop. Interesting layout of the shelving by the band saw… How well is that working for you?
