Inventor of the First Router Lift - 3 replies

I was very pleased to find out today, the very first router lift was designed and patented by a fellow Newfoundlander. Darrin Smith of Central Newfoundland in 1999 created the first (unless there were others that had something rigged up on their own) Router Lift. Darrin Smith is the President of JessEm Tools. :) That is a neat tidbit :)

A lil free scrap wood today. We are pleased - 6 replies

So I stop by a cabinet shop today and ask if they have any old MDF cut offs to use for jigs and such. This is what we get. It’s a small load of Maple and Oak. So, it just goes to show, it never hurts to ask :)
