I'm going to build one after I purchase a new table saw this week. I'll just have to eat sparser but I have to have a saw.
That guy is a genius. I just built a band saw from one of his plans.
You can see it here.

Also, why buy a table saw?
If I didn't already have two table saws, I might even try something like this.

I checked out all the amazing things this dude has done, from hardness testing to horizontal mortise and tenon machine, router lifts finger jointing indexer and more. The man is a genius, extremly intelligent, curious about every thing made from wood, even did micro photography of many types of wood, and best of all did bias free testing of wood glues, Titebond III vs Gorilla vs yellow glue vs Epoxy vs a few others I cant remember the names of.
Like I said the man is amazing.
