Stanley #5 planes - 8 replies I have 2 Stanley #5 planes, one with smooth sole and the other corrugated. Is there any advantage/disadvantage to the corrugated sole? The smooth sole plane was my grandfathers and I plan on keeping and restoring it, the other may be restored and then sold. |
