I'm a beginner who sometimes thinks he's an absolute pro. My wife lets me have the entire one car garage to myself to fill with tools, projects and lumber. I'm still a bit shy of spending money on nice hardwoods. Thus far, my projects have been made out of MDF, Birch plywood, oak plywood and pine. One day, when I feel a bit more comfortable, I'll try out some high-end wood.

I'm happy to have found this site and an online woodworking community that I once thought didn't exist. Hoping to learn a bit from the mistakes and successes of others.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
