I made this guitar a while ago. I took various design ideas and put them together. So this is the result.

Sounds nice…

It’s on my bucket list… both learning to play and making one… Not sure if I’ll ever do either though

That’s really neat. I have some questions. I have played guitar for a long time. Too long not to be any better than I am. Anyway, I have built a couple of electric guitar bodies with kit necks, but I have never braved an acoustic. I wondering where you started on this project? Did you build the neck as well? That is one part that kind of keeps me from jumping in, not sure how precise I need to be to keep from screwing up some nice wood. any insight would be appreciated!

To Chris:
Neck was easy. I took old guitars neck and made new one by old ones size. Even used old frets (because new ones from ebey turned out to be crap) Just measure it precisely. Hope that helps.
