I'm 52 and have always had a desire to work with wood. In my younger days, I did some wood sculpting but never seemed to have time (or the money) to indulge my fascination.
I have over 30 years of electronics experience that started with my first radio at 16, and includes 4 years military and 23 with Delta Air Lines.
I'm now living a dream in the aircraft simulation industry. Our company designs, modifies and manufactures full motion aircraft simulators. I am a lead electrical engineer on a number of military helicopter series and learning new systems everyday.
Like I said, this is my dream job but this is not work.
