Here are older pics from a trip to my favorite sawmill around raleigh, which is Charles Hollands place near jordan lake. The slab leaning against the trailer magically made its way home even though I had no idea what to do with it. Its around 9’ long and was from the center of the crotch of a walnut tree and its 2” thick. The stack of logs are cherry, and the stacks of lumber are walnut.

Looks like you got some very nice material. If you don’t mind would you share the name and the location of this lumber mill. I have on idea where Jordan lake is. It looks like he has some very nice Lumber. If you are talking Raliegh, NC.. It would be close for me.
Thank You

The sawmill is run by Charles Holland and he has a new hill, nc address and phone for the location but its in the online whitepages. He is on Pea Ridge Rd about 1 mile south of the bridge over Jordan lake, west hand side of the rd. He doesn’t have a sign out front, just the mailbox.

Have your say...
