A very useful tip Marty. Unfortunately the slot in my bandsaw is too narrow to accommodate a push stick.

Interesting. I thought all miter slots were at least 3/4” wide. And this isn’t necessarily my primary push stick, but one that I can count on as a backup if necessary.
