Mortise and tenon to attach uprights and beams. The spikes on the top are not glued in place there is a screw that is removed in order to place the glass, a system similar to that used in this picture frame. The screw shown in the third photo above.

Desafío-14: Acto de equilibrio
Esta simple varita mágica es el resultado azaroso del torneado de proporciones agradables en un pequeño trozo de madera (Peteribí – Cordia trichotoma) que andaba dando vueltas por el taller (y que terminó dando vueltas en el torno)... Mágicamente, y sin buscarlo, el centro de gravedad de la varita terminó quedando justamente en el nudo central de la misma. De intentar hacerlo seguro que no me sale… jajaja.

After performing the 1st version (my version) of Jacobs ladders, and test it, I made some modifications that will improve performance and lengthen its life:
- added a chamfer on the edges and the movement is much more fluid (also work a curve)
- I changed the grain orientation in the “logical” sense (originally guided me for aesthetic and manufacturing, but technically this new option is better)
The measurements of the small panels are: 3-1/4’’ x 2’’ x 3/8’‘

Después de realizar la 1ra versión (mi versión) de las escaleras de Jacobs, y de ponerla a prueba, hice algunas modificaciones que mejorarán su rendimiento y alargarán su vida útil:
- agregué un chanfle en las aristas y el movimiento es mucho más fluido (también sirve una curva)
- cambié la orientación de las vetas en el sentido “lógico” (originalmente me guié por una cuestión estética y de manufactura, pero técnicamente esta nueva opción es mejor)
Las medidas de las tablitas son: 8cm x 5cm x 9mm
Las últimas dos imágenes muestran a un hombre saludándolos y a un gato estirándose después de una larga siesta (por lo menos eso es lo que yo veo). ¡Hagan las suyas y diviértanse!

This Is a project I finished a few weeks ago, and the friend Vipond33 reminded me that had to share…

Shelf made ​​of eucalyptus (Eucalyptus grandis) and cancharana (Cabralea oblongifoliola), both semi lightweight and easy to work.
Half lap joints made ​​with the bandsaw and finished with a chisel.
It has a mirror inside, although you could also post a picture.
Above and below the mirror the mirror are the holes for the screws for wall mounting. On the back put a 1/8’’ HDF to protect the mirror, attached with four screws.
The finish is a commercial wax (not the finish I wanted to give, but time was pressing and it was what I had on hand).
A simple and delicate design that can be exploited in many ways with simple changes (look at the friend Vipond33 and tell me).

Cutlery set matching the end grain dish for roast.
A true novelty in these land. I glue the wood and an experienced man on steel did the rest (was very happy with the result). A sum of knowledge for a very nice result.

First rolling pin that I do using various woods. The design is very basic, but the result is very good. Este plato de 22,5cm de diámetro lo hice a pedido de una persona que gusta mucho de compartir asados (costumbre bien argentina). La madera oscura es guayubira (Patagonula americana) y la amarilla es guatambú (Balfourodendron riedelianum), ambas muy densas y de grano cerrado. El pegamento que utilicé es Titebond III, por supuesto.
La forma circular la corté en la sierra sinfin, y la canaleta la realicé en mi fresadora de mesa con una fresa de media caña. Mañana agrego una fotografía de la adaptación especial para hacer el trabajo.

_Caja para Flores de Bach realizada a pedido de un cliente. Primer proyecto en el que uso juntas malletadas (con mi nueva fresadora de mesa). Hay muchas maneras de improvisar una fresadora de mesa. Esta es la mía. Simple, barata y funciona. Además ocupa poco espacio. Mdf para la mesa y madera maciza para la base.
La altura se regula con suplementos en la parte inferior. El interruptor de seguridad (doble botón) es burlado con una cinta, y la máquina se enchufa a un dispositivo con llave externa.
El malletado para cajas es sencillo y sale perfecto. En la imagen se va una prueba, con fresa recta de 6mm.
