I know.. I need to post some pics.
I will set up an account with one of the sites and start posting soon.
I will not be able to get them tonight as we are cutting one of our offices over to a wireless connection. I hope that it will go well and I can get home early. I still have work to do on the key of the piano and some rearanging in the office. I cannot decide if I should take the lathe and accesories out of the office or leave them in there.
The office is the only area that is air conditioned.
I did spend a bunch of time cataloging all the the plans that I have. My wife wanted to help me get organized so we sat down and went through every magazine that I have collected over the past 5 years and indexed the plans on 3X5 cards and put them in a holder. Now if I need to build a chair I can look in the cards for chairs and know where I can find the plans for them.
I have also purchased Cutlist plus and entered the plans for every cabinet size from the book “the cabinet makers reference guide” I think that there are just over 100 plans in there. I hope to computerize all of the plans I have and have them availible in the office as well as the high speed internet connection to surf the net.
Well back to work.

I need a little organization as well. Are you in the UP of Michigan?
As an FYI. You can post project (3) and shop photos (6) in those areas without a hosting site.

Hello Mario:
I know exactly where you are. We often take 127 both North and South on my travels between Gainesville and the U.P. We like to stop at Uncle John’s Cider Mill which is a little South of you.
As to your 40’ x 48’ pole barn. Have you thought about dividing the space in half, insulating the work area and devoting the unheated space for wood drying and storage. If you can find a “buddy” with a Woodmizer he can help you fill it up. You can even get salvage permits from the Forest Service. My Upper Peninsula “Workshop in the Woods” is 24’ x 28’, insulated and heated, with an unheated loft where I store wood.
