Dude! You need a life. One where being blocked really doesn’t cause to lose all self-respect and go into a tirade.

While I have no knowledge about either of the parties, nor ever had any interaction with them…

I do feel the need to say, this IS a private site… not a public one, just like Facebook. In truth, there is no such thing as a “public” forum. They are all owned by individuals or companies, therefore not subject to the freedom of expression rights people like to tout online.

Just my worthless $.02.

Hobomonk has everyone blocked. I think it’s just where he’s trying to get more hits on his website.

This site has no moderators so this is a way to block people that are causing someone problems, or just because. This topic has been discussed on my threads, do a search for it.

It ain’t no big deal, Manitario…..I’m blocked by at least 3 people that I know of…..maybe more…who knows… But you know what? I don’t give a rat’s a..s… They probably did me a favor, cause the 3 that has me blocked….I don’t like them anyway…...

Hobomonk seems to block alot of people for no apparent reason other than whatever. They way I look at it is “Mind Over Matter” ...I don’t mind and he doesn’t matter.

I am also blocked and I have never seen any of his posts to even make a comment????
Only 1 project and a lot of posts in relation to that!
I never knew before now that I was blocked by anyone!
Now my life is ruined! NOT!

Don’t worry about it. It is a way of SPAMMINg without getting booted out. Block everyone and post bait with a link to your own website. I have run into that a couple times. I block the blocker to start my own list so I can remember who blocked me :-))

Some day when I have a migraine and need some mindless fun to humor myself and try to forget the pain, I may go through and block everyone who posts on my blocker’s threads ;-)) ;-)) We can see if it turns in to a blocking war ;-)) ;-)) ;-))

Manitario: This subject has been beat to death a number of times and if you research it, you will find the same results…..Who cares if they get blocked. With 23,000 people you are not always going to please everyone. It’s their loss not yours.

Howie, you are right that this topic has been discussed over and over, but in this instance, it’s totally different. This guy blocks “everyone”..... to try to get them to go to his web site. I don’t think this should be allowed.

Hey, I made it!!!!! I’m on someones Block list. I just went to Hobomonks last blog and I am blocked. Thanks Manitario, I would have never known I was blocked if you hadn’t started this blog. I feel like I am a true LJ now. LOL

thanks y’all. I had a particularly frustrating day yesterday for other reasons, and fired off an angry WTF?? blog in on finding I was blocked. Should have taken a deep breath instead.
