two more garage sale finds, the first is what I believe to be a paring chisel, it looks like it has opened more paint cans than cut wood. it has what appears to be a horse logo on it. the handle on it when I bought it was a split piece of dowel with copper pipe holding it together. The second I bought a year ago, it is I what I believe to be a timber framing chisel. it has a JS or a JG on it but is so rusty and faint I doubt that I will be able to get any kind of picture of ...

Part 2: 3 rusty planes

This weekend I went to a garage sale, I picked up three planes the Stanleys were $1 each and the craftsman rabbit plane was $5. I left probably 10 planes on the table but didn’t have money with me and it was so dark I could not see the markings on the planes. I live on a peninsula with the Pacific ocean on one side and a bay on the other, things rust here. I think I can clean these up, the only fear is that the blades are too rusty.
