Well here we are, another week has gone by and the only dust I have produced has been from sheetrock. I started out on a simple project of changing out a cable for the TV and found that the last owner of my house had run the TV and Phone cables through metal studs in the basement with out chafing protectors.
Needless to say for the last two weeks I have been tearing down sheet rock, running cables, and replacing walls. Just goes to show you that there is never enough time to do it right, however, there is always enough time to do it twice.
I will, however, get some sawdust out of the job though. In the process of replacing the sheetrock, I framed in the in the power panel and I will take the opportunity to build some frame and panel doors for panel.
Got to get something out of it to feed the addiction… Right…

ha! nice… I used to run low voltage cables in construction sites and I believe that if you do it right the first time – you never have to think about it again. – but I liked your line about “always time to do it twice”... lol
I hate sheetrock dust. good luck with the project, and hope you get it over with asap… and back to sawdust – where the REAL magic is!

Norm: Sorry for the bad luck. At least now you know where all of the wire come and go.
