My current workshop is located in our one car garage attached to our house. I am just getting started in woodworking so my shop is a work in progress in the strictest sense of the term.
I have been hard at work in the shop the past several weeks. there have been many updates since my first post. Since then I have added a 12-1/2” thickness planer (CL find for $60), a 5-speed bench top Drill Press (nearly free Yard sale find), a WoodWhisperer inspired woodrack, an assembly / outfeed table (was in the original pic but has been 95% completed and moved. I redid the Miter saw station and recessed it into my old workbench. I have also added clamp racks for specific clamps. I got a Jet DC off of Ebay for $150, works great!
Some items that need redoing are:
the cabinets on the wall need to be replaced, i made them out of old machine crates I got from the place I worked at the time. they work but are too high and too deep for me, even with a stool (I’m kinda short), under the new assembly / outfeed table there will be cabinets and drawers for storage. i think I have managed to do a lot with a small space but it still needs a lot of work.
Thanks for looking!
