This is my shop in Gilroy, California. I had this Butler building built in about year 2000 for the shop, tractor storage etc. The wood shop is 600 square feet, wood storage and finishing room is 400 and the balance of 2,000 square feet I use for storage. I had a machine shop in here first with a manual mill, lath and CNC mill. Eventually I swapped it out for wood working equipment. Looking back I wished I had kept the manual mill and lath.
When I remodeled my kitchen I brought the old oak cabinets down from the house and installed them in the shop. It’s nice to keep most things tucked away out of the dust.
As you can see most of the equipment is from Grizzly. It’s all worked well with little maintenance or repairs.
The only thing out of the ordinary is the sliding table on the table saw. It works well for me on smaller stuff
but if you get into large pieces it’s easy to get a little out of square. The sliding table needs to be adjusted dead nuts both in squareness and running on the exact same plane as the table saw top. It needs to be adjusted
occasionally. As you can see I have a roller out feed. It’s nice to be able to drop that down out of the way.

Depends on how much stuff I have going on. When I get into a project I spend maybe 20 hrs. a week.
When the project is complete I take a break to catch up on the Honey do list.

We have two acres of grapes. Merlot, Sauv Blanc and Cab. We sell the grapes to a winery down the road.
I only do the fun stuff, tractoring and spraying for weeds.
Woodworking is more fun than vineyard work.

Wow! Great shop & great location too!
I love the smell of garlic when we pass through there.
