I am a hobby woodworker. I am finally at the point in life where I have enough tools and time to work on this hobby. I have done mostly flat work over the years since high school but have been learning to turn on the lathe the past couple of years.
I enoy learning and meeting people that share woodworking as a hobby. One of my passions is to build a Maloof inspired rocker.
I am the past president and current member of the Show-Me Woodturners in Festus, MO. We are a growing club and welcome all newcomers of all skill levels. I am a member of the Belleville Holzschnitzers Woodcarving Club and a member of the IWCS - International Wood Collectors Society.
Currently I am working out of a small space of 12' by 14' and with a bandsaw, sander, grinder, table saw and lathe. It is a cramped space but I am glad that I have a place to enjoy my hobby.
