Only two Montages here. Enjoy.

Don’t let your coffee get cold Mark. What are the dowels made out of?

Tony. I wasn’t clear enough. The Montage I ended with had the sammich in it. That was in real time, when I was working on the bowl, and had made up my mind what to do about the crack. What I decided to do at that point was to eat a sammich and think it over. The circles inscribed on the blank, John, were just spitballs at the time. There may be no dowels. That was weeks ago. Time was my friend this evening inasmuch as the time I posted the photo of the sammich was also a good time to break for dinner – tonight. It was also a good time to break the narrative, insofar as it left you guys at a transition, and waiting for more.
Like, “what’s he gonna do?”, John.
“Ah,” say you. “i see you boring holes in the final photo.”
No. You don’t. You see a drill press setup, that looks like its boring holes. Surely, you’ve held a saw blade against a piece of wood and stood there, mulling it over, before taking a stroke?

You’re too clever by half, says the Voice in my head.

Stay tuned. And enjoy the ride.

For most people, seeing things that aren’t there is known as psychosis. In woodsmithery, it’s a Gift.
