no previous part Part 1 of Ficus Bowl Set series Part 2: - OR - How short a Blog Can Be When I'm Hungry »

I know. I didn’t do this with the first two. But, you know, things get better, as one goes along. This one seemed worth the effort. I’m not done with it yet. I’m in the process of finishing the inside. So, while BLO soaks, I Blog. There are seventeen Montages involved here. I’m thinking I’ll give you three or four at a time, so’s you don’t get bored.
On with the show-and-tell. All Montages are ordered clockwise from top-left. If the font is a little small for you, Ctrl/+ a few times. That’s what I do.

There you go. The first four. The next two will arrive immediately. That makes a good break point. The rest wil happen later. Thanks for putting up with me.

Shop motto: Maybe we’ll get it right someday.

Look out for that knot mate, it could be full of surprises.

Could be full of more than surprises, Tony. For both of us, he said, cryptically.
Good at what, Tom? Conducting tours through my disturbed mind?

The hardest part is just getting the blank ready for the lathe!

Lew, I’m having fits finishing the inside – tool marks that, no matter what I do, refuse to go away. So, the hardest part is trying not to get it so thin that it blows up, and all the work you’ve witnessed comes to naught.
Color,Tom? I’m color-challenged. It’s one of my many vexations.
