Our hearts go out to you, Mark. Mimi and I know the love and the loss when it comes to our “children”. They are with us for such a short span of time, but they fill every space in our hearts and lives.

Thanks, Lew. It hurts, But she’s better now. I’m grateful for the time we had. I wish I could be more like her, insofar as dogs don’t feel sorry for themselves.

Outside of a dog, a book is man’s best friend. Inside a dog, it’s far too dark to read. You may quote me.

Condolences to you Mark. It’s hard loosing a dog, they’re like children to us. We had to put down one of our Doxies last year, she was almost 17 years old. Cried like a baby …

Oh my. So sorry for your loss Mark. My dogs are my best friends and closer to me than many of my own family.

Dogs are my favorite people, Don. I’ve said it before: They come all the way from their planet, just to be our friends. Thank God for them.

So sorry Mark. Our dog is fourteen and shes going to rip our hearts out one day before long.
It’s hard to lose them but the time with them makes it worth the pain.

I’ll be puppy shopping within a week, Paul. I can’t get enough of them. Sadie had been with me since she was four-and-a-half weeks old. She was my truck puppy, back when I was on the road.

Prayers with you, Mark. Been there, done that, last year. Fifteen years together can go fast. I see you had Sadie for eighteen. She had a good run.

Hey Mark, sorry to hear about Sadie. I always wondered about her when I saw her picture by your name. That dog I’m standing beside belongs to my son, Wrigley is his name, (after the ball park) Giant Schnauzer. I sure enjoy their visits. I’ll be waiting to see a picture of your next buddy.

Thank you, all my Beloved, tender-hearted Buddies. It’s really so sweet of you all. I’ll wait til the lump in my throat lessens before I go puppy shopping. I had to send Molly to Doggy Heaven, back in ‘99. She was a 9-1/2-year-old Rottweiller/Shepard/Husky who got arthritis really bad and really suddenly, and could hardly move. I cried BUCKETS. But, Sadie was there, about 2-1/2 at the time. And I know that having her around made Molly’s sudden disappearance much less painful than it would otherwise have been. Yeah. I need to go puppy shopping. In the meantime, Bonnie and Clyde are always there to comfort me, just down the street. For anyone who just said, “Whattt??”

They’re my friends. They make me happy.
