Workshop Information

Location
United States
This is my one-car garage workshop. It's fully functional and includes all the major tools a woodworker needs, with the exception of a band saw (I know how do I live?) and a lathe. It's not all that pretty, yet of course, but I'm amazed at how functional it is. For as many people I see with 2-car, 3-car, and bigger workshops, after visiting the Colonial Cabinet Makers shop in Colonial Williamsburg, I feel like I myself grossly under-utilize the small space I have. With every piece I create I try to utilize hand tools more and more, partly out of necessity but more so to connect with the real art of woodworking.

MC, you have managed to put together a nice shop in which to work. It looks as if you have effectively utilized the space that you have available and you have organized it pretty well.

Thanks for posting the pictures. I enjoyed visiting your shop.
