I am lucky to live in the foothills of CO. I have been woodworking since I started job in high school at a small wood shop. I tend to have a lot of distractions though - a fixer-upper house (going on 10 years of fixing), racing mountain bikes, and lots of time spent with my wife and dog.

I built a detached garage about 2 years ago which finally gives me a level floor and some space to build projects again. With the garage, also comes a 28x14 greenhouse for my wife. When that is complete, I will have more time to make sawdust and my wife will be a few steps away tending to her plants.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

Would love to see the green house sometime.

God Bless
tom

Welcome. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a few months ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…

Wisty
