Location: Alexandria, VA

Military active duty, so I'm still moving around quite a bit. In the DC area for a staff tour, so I have some time to dedicate to woodworking.

Amateur woodworker. Just getting started with turning, but I think furniture making will be my final calling.

Welcome Lou. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.

Welcome to our family! You’ll find this site very addicting and you’ll find someone to help you with most any question- even outside of woodworking. Lumberjocks is the greatest web side I’ve found and it is very easy to get around on it. Martin has made it very intuitive!!
Do you take a wood lathe with you as you move around in the military?
