I am a woodworker from Plymouth, MN., which is a suburb of Minneapolis. I enjoy making smaller boxes and picture frames, because they are usually quicker from start to finish! I've been inspired by many projects since joining Lumberjocks. The tool reviews and blogs have also been very helpful.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
tom

Way to go Lou, your first post was to call another Lumberjock a “raving idiot”.

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a few months ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…

Abbott, I posted the idiot comment because I’ve seen this guy’s videos on Youtube. When I saw he was ranting about safety concerns, I just lost it. Look at this video, around the 2 minute mark, and you might understand why I got upset. Many people watch these videos to learn techniques and it’s scary to think that they might try to replicate what he’s doing on a tablesaw. That’s it. Sorry if I offended you, but I was trying to shame him into curbing further videos. Thanks, Lou.
