I worked as a professional custom furniture builder/ cabinetmaker for most of my adult years. I've been away from it for the last 5 years or so, but have a new found enthusiasm to get back in the groove again. So, my wife and I have been buying all kinds of tools and machinery. I'm like a crazy man thinking of something else I need to buy every day, lol.

Anyways, this looks like a great environment to hone up my skills and learn some new techniques. A lot of very skilled and creative crafts people......gotta love the internet!

We opened a little Etsy shop and are trying to think of fun and interesting projects for it, maybe try some craft fairs. I'm semi-retired and would love to be able to earn a little extra income into retirement and have a fun hobby to boot. My wife, Cheryl provides a nice dose of design ideas as I am more of a technician than an artist. So it works out pretty well for us.

I'll post some of our first projects and am looking forward to seeing what everyone else is making : )
