50 yrs old, married with four children. Have many interests and hobbies, too many. Woodworking has always ranked very high. My first serious project was a desk, shortly after my wife and I married. Made it with a manual miter saw, panel saw and a router. After a serious kick back incident I was pretty intimidated by my father's radial arm; 3 hp and 220v. I remember my father's impression when I was finished, he was impressed; probably more by the fact that I completed it.
